Retcon privacy policy

This policy covers the Retcon iPhone and iPad app and its invitation pages, provided by Play with Fire. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@playwithfire.games.
Information used to run Retcon
Account information may include your email address, sign-in identifier, unique username, profile name, optional photo and biography. Your chosen sign-in provider, such as Apple or Google, also processes your sign-in.
We store game moves and results, multiplayer messages, invitations, ratings, XP, achievements, unlocks and preferences to provide play, synchronize progress and operate profiles and leaderboards. Your profile, rankings and shared results may be visible to other players according to the feature and your privacy choices. Messages are intended for their participants.
If you enable notifications, we use a device notification token to deliver game and message notices. Local games, settings and playback preferences are also stored on your device. Information you send to support is used to respond to your request.
Advertising
Retcon integrates Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. During development, we use demonstration ads. The ad integration requests non-personalized ads. Non-personalized ads can still involve data processing.
Google’s advertising software may process your IP address (which can indicate an approximate location), app or device identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostic or performance information to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Google and advertising partners process this information under their own policies. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
We do not add your Retcon profile, email address or message content to our ad requests. Where privacy choices are required, the app provides Google’s privacy message and an Ad privacy choices entry in Settings. If the required privacy setup cannot complete, the app continues without requesting ads. Gameplay remains available.
Purchases
Apple processes in-app purchases. Retcon uses verified purchase information to recognize ad removal and restore access. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Test purchases and live purchases are separate.
Service providers
We use Supabase for account and multiplayer services, Apple for app distribution, purchases and push notifications, Google for applicable sign-in, advertising and consent services, and hosting and email providers for our website and support. Providers may process information outside your country. Information may also be disclosed when necessary to comply with law, protect users or investigate abuse.
Your choices and requests
You can edit available profile and privacy settings in the app, manage notification permission in iOS Settings, and manage applicable advertising choices through Ad privacy choices. Ad removal does not remove account or multiplayer information needed to provide those features.
To request access to, correction of or deletion of account information, email privacy@playwithfire.games. We may need to verify account ownership. Some game records may need to remain for other participants, service integrity or legal obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights or the right to contact your local data-protection authority.
Retention and security
We retain information as needed to provide the service, maintain game records, respond to requests and meet legal or security obligations. We use authentication and access controls to protect account and multiplayer information. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children and privacy questions
Parents or guardians with questions about a child’s information should contact privacy@playwithfire.games.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and identify the updated date. Material changes will be brought to players’ attention as appropriate.
